FYI regarding indicator led globes. You need to change the flasher can to an LED version and it will work with no issues.

What's the tool called?

I just installed Halo headlights on my 2014 JKU; I was pleased to find this video as the procedure seemed very straightforward. The wiring on my were red/yellow, I tried red to blinker - no go. Rewired yellow to blinker - no go! What else would cause this to not work? The halo never illuminated and would not flash when the blinker was activated on either wiring configuration.

I watched the video before this one on building a flag holder. I cannot believe you just draped the flag on the ground. It's been 4 years since that video has been posted, and I see you shut off comments for that video, makes me wonder if it's because you got roasted over it. And yet you still have it published. If you want to display our flag, you should respect how to properly handle it.

Good job. But Skipped the one part I was interested in connecting to battery. Did you put an inline fuse and what size, does it connect to negative post also?

A piece of wood and a crow bar would make life so much easier when ur taking ur tires off and putting them back on. I have 33/12.50’s on my JK and those suckers r heavy. Using the wood as leverage letting the pry bar do all the hard work lol. I luv my big tires but damn they just aren’t made for the highway. I luv running nitrogen n my tires never had ne issues (knock on wood)

It’s been five years since these were installed. Are they holding up well? Has the plastic covering on the headlight faded or clouded any?

1:31 those plastic indents right by the knob, on mine too constantly fill up with water, and when I make a turn, water spills on me. I resealed, I bought that exact Quadratec kit, and replaced all those seals, and did not help at all. I actually made my own seals too, exactly like you have there with that roll, and added on the the existing, but still happens. I bought a new Rugged Ridge sailcloth top and I am replacing it tomorrow, as the old one is worn and shrunk, $499 and a $150 gift card. the Velcro seals no longer hold, the windows scratched and foggy, so I am hoping that resolves it. I even ran a strip along the entire front, no help. I was thinking about filling up those cups with foam.

I did none of that I took out my old lights put in my new lights took took wires off of my side marker lights and extended them plug them into the two little wires and Bob is your uncle I was done

this is BY FAR, the BEST explainer video I've watched on this topic. some guys gloss over the actual connections, you take the time to explain EVERYTHING. I skipped through a few parts, like how to use an in-line crimp because honestly, if you don't know how those work, you have no business doing any sort of wiring!!! LOL... anyway, this video should be tagged as the OFFICIAL video on how to install ANY halo / DRL LED for a Jeep JK. You could sell this to the light manufacturers and make some money! It's REALLY GOOD!!!!!
